Layne Storrier’s mission is nothing short of remarkable. Over 36 days, he is completing an astonishing 36 Half Ironman triathlons. This incredible feat includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run – every single day. Layne’s goal is to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis, a life-limiting genetic condition affecting many Australians.

 

Day 13 Highlights:

Layne has already covered impressive distances:

A staggering 24.7 km swim

An astounding 1,170 km on the bike

An inspiring 274.3 km run

 

But Layne’s journey isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about the heartfelt stories and connections he’s making along the way. One particular story that fuelled Layne’s spirit came from Sam, a gentleman with CF awaiting a double lung transplant, who sent Layne a video of himself from his hospital room, cycling in solidarity.
