LJ Hooker

LJ Hooker, through the LJ Hooker Foundation has a long history of supporting local communities - taking pride in the way they give back - whether it's across the street or across the world. LJ Hooker has raised over $5.5 million for the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT) over a 20 year 'Partnership in Caring'.

LJ Hooker Founder, Sir Leslie Hooker, was a great believer in supporting the community. 'Real estate is not about houses, it's about people' is a phrase that has been quoted for generations in the LJ Hooker family and still holds true today.

LJ Hooker were sponsors of the 2018 Mental Health Roadshow.

In September 2018, LJ Hooker celebrated their 90 year
birthday. We are honoured to have such a wonderful
relationship with LJ Hooker and wish them all the best
for this incredible milestone, a true testament to their
ethic and community spirit.

Irongate is a real estate investment trust listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

In 2017, Irongate (previously Investec Australia Property Fund) purchased the property of which CFA's head office (Rose Cottage) resides in North Ryde, Sydney. They have generously allowed CFA to use the residence at no cost. This has allowed CFA to use money that would usually be used on rent for cystic fibrosis research. We are grateful for the generosity and support of the team at Irongate and look forward to working alongside them for years to come.

Cystic Fibrosis Australia has always had a vision to connect everyone, to break down the walls, leave no one behind and allow the entire community to be together through education and experiences.

Infection control often posed an issue, but the team at CoStar (previously Padlokt) gave us the key to unlock the door. From this, an online, real-time platform was created. This safe and secure space has allowed us to connect the community with each other, as well as connect them to specialists, scientists, geneticists, researchers and others in the CF field from around the world. Consumer Connect  gives individuals one on one chat time with special guest speakers, includes a chat forum and blog written by members of the CF Community. What's more, its free!

We are grateful for the ongoing support from the team at CoStar and look forward to what lies ahead in our digital future!
