Ten exciting, high calibre international speakers have already accepted our invitation to present at the 13th Australasian Cystic Fibrosis Conference next August. These are some of the best and brightest minds in their respective fields and together with a plethora of local presenters, we encourage you to join us and as we celebrate partnerships in cystic fibrosis by sharing the latest in CF research, treatments, trials, innovation and so much more.

Registration types

Following the success of previous years, there is a reduced price incentive for those who book early. 

In addition to this, for the first time, we are introducing a travel grant to ease the financial strain of attending the conference.

Medical Registrations

Nursing and Allied Health Registrations

Nursing and allied health registrations are for those who are Nurses, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Social Workers in the CF and respiratory fields.

In addition to this, for the first time, we are introducing a travel grant to ease the financial strain of attending the conference for allied health and PhD students.

About the travel grant>

Full-Time PhD 

A discounted registration is available for Full-Time PhD students who are currently in the CF field. 

To register at this rate, you must apply via email to the conference secretariat at lizk@cfa.org.au. Travel Grants will be available for Full-Time PhD students, numbers are limited so book early.

You must include in your application unequivocal proof of full-time enrolment as a PhD for 2019 eg: fee statement, university portal print out with identification + student ID etc.

Once approved, you will be provided with an access link and code to register.

About the travel grant>

Observer Registrations

Observer registrations  will be available on a case by case basis. This category is strictly limited, tightly controlled and provides access to both Lay and Medical Programs. 

To be eligible you must get prior approval from Cystic Fibrosis Australia.

Social Program

An important part of each conference is the time and opportunity to mingle with your peers. As such, the following social events are available during the conference.

  • Welcome Cocktail Party (included in registration, Sunday 4 August, 5-6pm)
  • Conference Celebration (additional ticket/cost, more details to come. Save the date: Monday 5 August)
