Lives unaffected by cystic fibrosis

Cystic Fibrosis Conferences

Cystic Fibrosis Australia's Conference schedule is packed full of fantastic speakers, brilliant destinations and the most up to date information in CF research

In 1988 the first International Cystic Fibrosis Conference in the southern hemisphere was held in Sydney and in 1994 CFA organised the inaugural Australasian Cystic Fibrosis Conference (ACFC).  This allowed medical, scientific, allied health and lay communities to come together for knowledge gathering, information sharing and understanding of new trends from overseas.  The 13th ACFC will be held in Perth in August 2019.

Cystic Fibrosis Nurses Conference 2018

The Organising Committee of the 2018 CF nurses conference are excited to welcome you to Parramatta in August 2018.

While we are a group of nurses with a special interest in Cystic Fibrosis we have a wide range of skills and experience levels. Our aim has been to develop a program that will interest and motivate all who work in this rewarding yet challenging field.

Our program will cover key areas of CF patient management with equal focus on Adult and Paediatric care. Our guest speaker will speak to us on the importance of further promoting and recognising the role of nurses in the life long management of people with CF.

Our social program will include welcome drinks as well as a conference dinner that will surely be a night to remember.

Parramatta is located in the centre of Sydney and is a large, multicultural city. Parramatta is  well known for its fine selection of restaurants and “eat street”, historical past and cultural diversity. It is a great place to take a walk by the river or relax with coffee or cocktails after the conference.
