Dear CF Community Member
The 2021 Australiasian Cystic Fibrosis Conference is rapidly approaching and plans are well underway.
CFA has two very important questions for you and your responses will inform our lay and medical conference formats and programs. Please complete the survey link HERE.
Note re COVID-19: If we are still in pandemic conditions at the time of the conference, all in-person tickets/registrations will be fully refunded and the conference will continue online only.
Cystic Fibrosis Australia's Conference schedule is packed full of fantastic speakers, a brilliant destination and the most up to date information in CF research.
In 1988 the first international Cystic Fibrosis Conference in the southern hemisphere was held in Sydney and in 1994 CFA organised the Inaugural Australasian Cystic Fibrosis Conference (ACFC). This allowed medical, scientific, allied health and lay communities to come together for knowledge gathering, information sharing and understanding of new trends from overseas. The 14th ACFC will be held in Hobart from 7th - 10th August 2021.
The 14th Australisian Cystic Fibrosis Conference provides a collaborative and education forum for the CF community and CF professionals to help advance CF research and care. In 2021 our biennial conference brings together health professionals and members of the CF community from around the world to discuss and share ideas on the latest advance in CF research, care and drug development and to exchange ideas about ways to improve the health and quality of life for people with CF.
In 2021:
- our Lay Conference will be held from Saturday 7th August to Sunday 8th August
Please REGISTER HERE for the Lay Conference
- our Medical Conference will be held from Sunday 8th August to Tuesday 10th August
Please REGISTER HERE for the Medical Conference
Both conferences will be held at the Hobart Grand Chancellor Hobart

Planning is well underway with both the Lay and Medical organising communities working together to bring you the most up-to-date and current information from the best speakers both locally and from around the world.
