The Cystic Fibrosis Lung Health Grant sponsored by For Benefit Medicines

The Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT), in conjunction with For Benefit Medicines (FBM), the not-for-profit partner of BTC Speciality Health, is pleased to announce the 2022 Lung Health Grant.

The aim of the grant is to improve the knowledge and skills of any professional person working in an aspect of cystic fibrosis lung health.  Applications relating to potential improvements in mucociliary clearance are particularly sought.

The award is provided to support education, training, academic purposes and/or medical research, activities that improve the quality of medicine and the improvement of cystic fibrosis outcomes.   Travel costs to participate in an international cystic fibrosis conference may be included in the application. 

Suitable applicants include researchers, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

The maximum amount awarded under the grant is $5,000 and will be subject to the approval of the applicant’s budget.
