COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH PROJECT
Following the recent international call by Cystic Fibrosis Australia (CFA) and Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia (CFWA), 13 quality submissions were received from Scientists around the world interested in the five year research project aimed at eliminating or neutralising Cystic Fibrosis.
On the recommendation of the Scientific Advisory Committee, a shortlist of proposals has been progressed to Stage II.
Proposals are ambitious and demonstrate collaboration across both geographical boundaries and disciplines including clinicians, physiologists, biologists, statisticians, geneticists, and chemists.
CFA/CFWA planning is to select the prime application(s) in the first quarter of 2012.
