Transplant Support
CFWA have recently begun developing a support network for members who have had or who are on the list to receive a lung transplant. The program, developed with the assistance of our members involves bi-annual dinners to provide the opportunity for members to develop support networks
The program also aims to begin a ‘buddy program’ whereby people who have had a transplant can mentor/support other members on the transplant list.
Part of this new program has been the purchase of e-flow nebulisers from Technipro. We can provided this equipment (on loan) to people on the transplant list, who have been directly referred through the hospital physiotherapist.
