School holidays are drawing to a close and soon the kids will be back in the classroom. CFWA offers a free school education service to parents and teachers about Cystic Fibrosis.

Now that everyone is back at school, Cystic Fibrosis WA is offering Teachers/School Carers the opportunity to have our Education Officer call at their school and present information on CF.
By keeping schools informed about CF, we aim to encourage flexibility in programming which will better cater for children with CF in the school setting.
Most talks will be kept to general information, however if there is a particular issue you would like raised at your school, please contact:

What services are available?
Our services are tailor made to suit all age groups, including:
- Young people at Preschool, Kindergarten and Day Care Centres
- Students at Primary School
- Students at High School
- Students and schools in regional areas where information can be shared via telephone contact, mail and country visits
Our services to schools can include:
- School Visits – these can include a visit with the student’s teacher, Principal and/or presentation of general information about Cystic Fibrosis at a Staff Meeting
- Teacher Information Packages – these include information about Cystic Fibrosis, the services provided through our Association and Hospital School Services
- Support and Information via telephone, email, internet and mail
- Brochures designed for the parent’s of classmates (particularly for those just starting out at school where there may be limited awareness of Cystic Fibrosis among classmates and their families.) This brochure is available for parents to distribute
