Project Officer
Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia is a small charitable organisation working out of
state-of-the-art offices in Nedlands. We provide a wide range of services to children
and young adults living with CF and their families. We pride ourselves on our

Duties and Responsibilies
Reporting to the Senior Project Offcer - Education & Recreation, this position will
provide administrative support to the services team, collating information to acquit
government contracts, maintaining a database of members and supporters and
organising travel itineraries and accommodation.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a positive can do attitude,
excellent computer skills including database management skills and also be the sort
of person that likes to roll up their sleeves and get involved in organising a range of
special events from kids camps to expos.
Selection Criteria
All candidates must address the selection criteria by supplying one short paragraph
under each of the following seven headings:
1. A high level of computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word,
Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Publisher and database management. (Training will be
given on DonMan if required)
2. Above average organisation skills, prioritising of workloads, time management
excellent attention to detail.
3. Experience in organising events and/or projects. Ability to demonstrate
commitment to a project/event from beginning to end.
4. Proven ability to work as an effective team member.
5. Ability to communite with a wide variety of people. This includes an ability to
empathize with parents, individuals with CF and others in the CF community.
6. A 'C' Class driver's licence.
7. Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate occasional weekend and evening
activities.
Remuneration
A competitive salary of $44,804 pa is offered plus superannuation, leave loading
and bonus leave. As CFWA is a public benevolent institution, you will also have the
capacity to salary sacrifice up to $15,000 of your base salary.
