Are you passionate about raising awareness and understanding of CF?

CFCC is seeking adults with CF and CF parents, partners, siblings or grandparents to join its community speakers program.  You don’t need to be an experienced public speaker or possess any particular qualifications. CFCC will provide the training, support and resources.

Volunteer Speaker Training

CFCC holds speaker training sessions at least once a year.

Speaker Requirements

• Attend one training session

• Be available for a minimum of two speaking opportunities a year

• Be prepared to actively seek opportunities to promote CF through your own networks

• Be involved in one CFCC fundraising event a year

Types of Presentations

To give you an idea of who you would be speaking to, CFCC commonly receives requests for guest speakers from the following types of organisations:

  • Community groups, such as Rotary, Freemasons, Probus
  • Schools
  • Sporting clubs
  • Church groups
  • Tertiary institutions
  • Businesses

 By sharing your experience you can help increase awareness, understanding  and help motivate fundraising for cystic fibrosis.
