CF-Related Emergency Assistance

Cystic Fibrosis Community Care’s (CFCC) provides emergency financial assistance for urgent cystic fibrosis (CF)-related needs at times of crisis, during lengthy hospital admissions or following sudden changes of health for people and families on a low income. Applicants meeting the criteria may be eligible to receive support of up to $300 a year.

Who can apply?

Applicants mus be:

  • A current member of CF
  • Have a child with CF or be an adult with CF
  • A a resident of Victoria (incl Albury area)
  • On a low income and experiencing significant financial stress
    (Low income is defined as: less than $45,000 a year for individuals and less than $70,000 for couples/families)

How do I apply?

  1. Download and complete an application form (PDF 121KB)
  2. Attach:
    -  Proof of of low income status (e.g. payment summary, payslip, Disability Support Pension card)
    -  The utilities bill if support is via payment of utililties
  3.  Send it to Cystic Fibrosis Community CareVictoria via:
