CFSA Board

We are delighted to introduce you to the new Board of Directors of CFSA.  The Board were elected at the AGM in May.

The Board members volunteer their time to ensure we are heading in the right direction strategically and that we are governed ethically and legally. We thank each and every one of them for doing so. 

We are very fortunate that we have been able to elect a board who bring a wide variety of skills, backgrounds, social positions and experience to driving CFSA forward. The Board are as follows:

Robert Handley - President

Robert has a daughter with CF and is a secondary maths/science teacher.  He joined the Board when Genevienve was diagnosed in 1989, has been President for a number of years and still enjoys offering his tme and expertise as a Board Member.  He has advocated for improved health care for children and adults with CF by working collaboratively with the WCH, the RAH and SA Health for many years.

John Gray - Vice President

John is both a CF parent and an experienced IT professional (Program & Project Management, Service Delivery Management) in a senior position with 2013’s third fastest growing company in South Australia. John has experience in a wide range of industries such as; automotive, banking, utilities, telecommunications, government, aged care & health, mining, aviation, insurance & education.

Michelle SInclair - Treasurer

Michelle has over 15 years experience in taxation and accounting working in a number of listed companies in Adelaide.  Michelle is currenlty the senior Accountant at Leigh Creek Energy (ASX:LCK).  In this role, she is responsible for financial and management accounting as well as tax compliance of the company.  Michelle has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant.

 Greg Weller - Secretary

As a father of a young boy who has CF and has spent extensive time in hospital, Greg is passionate about understaing CF, promoting CF awareness, supporitng those impacted by CF and finding a cure.  With 27 years experience in Defence, inclduing the last five years in Adelaide in senior Defence positions Greg has extensive strategic and business planning, management, goverance, board, public speaking, media, engagement and event planning experience.  He has strong relationshps with local and state government, industry, the veterans community and other NFP organisations.  Greg is dedicated to using these skills and experiences in support of CFSA and the SA CF Community.



Joel Siepmann

Joel has been working as a Solicitor with Donlan Lawyers since October 2012. He became interested in supporting CFSA after meeting many peolpe and their families whose lives are effected by CF.  Joel joined the Board in May 2017.

 

Robert Ball

Rob is an experiences Business Development Manager for a highly successful South Australian IT Company.  Rob was motivated to join the board after seeing first hand the effect CF has on those with the illness and their families. Rob brings his professional experience to the Board to contribute to CFSA and the Members it supports.

 

Jessica Lambert

Jess lives with Cystic Fibrosis and joined the Board in 2016 following many years volunteering on the 65 roses Ball committee.  Coming from a marketing and Administration background and holding a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Jess hopes to combine her skills with her knowledge and personal experience with CF to continue to improve assitance for those living with CF as well as providing a voice for the CF Community.

 

Steven Gray

Stephen has a granddaughter with CF.  He served in the RAAF in senior positions and has had many years experience in corporate governance.   He joined the CFSA Board in 2016 and brings his previous board experince to support CFSA.
