You can support Cystic Fibrosis SA by running your own fundraising event! Fundraising events are a great way to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis, much needed funds for our vital work, and to have fun, meet people and make a difference!
- Organise your own Fundraising Event such as a golf day, trivia night, free dress day, dinner dance, garage sale, or ask guests at your birthday or party to give donations to Cystic Fibrosis Queensland instead of presents.
- Challenges – organize your own run/walk/trek/swim event and ask for donations or sponsorship for your efforts
- take part in a locally organised fun run or sporting event and ask for donations or sponsorship.

Recently CFSA held a very successful quiz night which raised $4000 for Cystic Fibrosis. From the feedback received everyone really enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun! Of course many people contributed to making this event so successful and CFSA would like to thank the following volunteers & donors:

Carolyn Donlan, Chris Thompson, Tony & Cathy Hill, Rachael Craig, Matthew Pohl, Ian Smedman and Neil Orange for various volunteer roles.
Allan Tapp, Walter Clappis, Dymocks Rundle Mall, Adelaide Business Forms, Robern Menz, Wallis Cinemas, Detmold and Pulteney Grammar School for various donations of goods or services to this event.

Janet Tucker (parent) and her sister who held a trading table over on the peninsula and raised $1200 for Cystic Fibrosis! Janet holds this trading table every year donating the proceeds to CF. Thanks Janet and helpers for your ongoing support, we appreciate it!!
Kathy Toole from Toole's Family Hotel who has been fundraising for CF in Tibooburra in NSW and raised over $5000 for us! This was mostly raised through a hair cutting/head shave of the hotel's chef, Tim Burn who has been growing his hair for quite awhile (4 yrs!). A fantastic effort by all involved!
