Cystic Fibrosis South Australia

Newly Diagnosed Supports

The period of diagnosis of having CF for families can be a very stressful time. There is so much new information to take in, and often in the unfamiliar environment of a hospital.

CFSA aims to provide supports to individuals and families over this time to assist in understanding what the diagnosis means, and the impact it will have. We provide a range of information, opportunities to talk and meet with other parents, activities and seminars to learn, share and enjoy the new community, as well as a 'welcome pack'. The welcome pack is full of practical and fun things to make it easier to cope with the day to day happenings of living with cystic fibrosis.

CFSA also has grandparent information and sibling packs that can help them.
