CF Access to the Hospital School
The Hospital Education Services provide a teaching and learning program to children and students who are admitted to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This can be provided on the wards or in classroom settings in the school. As part of the Hospital we are required to adhere to policies and procedures determined by medical staff.
We have quite clear guidelines that children and students with cystic fibrosis should not to be together in the same room while in our school setting.
Every effort is made to provide equity of access to teachers and curriculum facilities. At times children and student attendance is rotated to achieve such equity.
