I am very pleased to be the Patron of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
This organisation plays a vital role, responding to the needs of those living with CF, their families and carers, and to the myriad of challenges they confront.
With no known cure for CF and the numbers affected in our Queensland Community continuing to grow, we need vigorous effort to raise awareness of this disease, to enable the provision of high quality care and to secure more funds for research.
As Patron, I will commit my energetic effort to these goals and will encourage as many others as possible to do the same.
