Educational Evenings
CFQ holds a number of forums as part of our education evenings program for parents to discuss specific issues relevant to them and to share ideas with others. These take place within small groups and are facilitated by professional staff to ensure that the sessions provide valuable education and information.
CFQ's education evenings are designed to cover topics/issues around CF that clients and families are struggling the most with.
CFQ also offers the general cystic fibrosis community the opportunity to access educational evenings. Guest speakers will be organised throughout the year to ensure that we remain informed about the latest treatments and research.
Dvds of past education evenings are available from CFQ upon request. These DVD's are free of charge, however donations to cover costs are appreciated, These DVD's include topics such as:

Please note CFQ will not be running education evenings in 2009. This is due to CFQ hosting the 8th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Conference in Brisbane next year and will be organising many speakers and workshops on issues around CF during 3 day symposium.
CFQ encourages all parents and families to attend the lay component of the conference to ensure they are up to speed with what's going on in the world of CF both here in Australia and overseas.
