Donate through your pay
Not everyone has the time to volunteer or fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland (CFQ) but still want to contribute in a direct way.
Workplace Giving is an easy yet powerful way to show your support for Queenslanders living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
The security of receiving regular donations allows us to plan our Support Services, make long-term commitments to state wide programs and reduce costs so that more funds are directed into services.
How It Works
- 100 per cent of your donation goes to CFQ;
- You will not have to collect, keep or claim receipts; and
- Your donation will be processed through your pay and you will get an immediate, guaranteed tax deduction.
To put it simply, a $20 donation pre-tax costs the donor only $13.70 after the automatic tax deduction, but CFQ receives the full $20 (assuming a marginal tax rate of 32.5%).
If a small company of 20 staff donates just $2 per week in their pay to CFQ, within a year there will be $2400 to help a sufferer of CF.
Multiply that by more staff, or a bigger donation, or more companies joining in.... and MORE sufferers can be helped.

Become a ‘Charity Champion’ in your workplace
A great way to support CFQ is to help us through your workplace. This can mean becoming involved in promoting your employer's workplace giving program or helping publicise and coordinate a fundraising events such as a morning tea or raffle.
