Cystic Fibrosis Queensland

Leave a Bequest in your will

After providing for your family, a bequest to CFQ is a special way of improving the lives of people with cystic fibrosis and can be a memorial to your concern for others.

Keep your love alive for the love of life.

How to make a Bequest

We recommend that your Will be prepared by your solicitor, trustee company or the Public Trustee. You can choose one of four preferred wordings for your bequest:

I GIVE to Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Limited (its successors or assigns) all my estate to be used for its general purposes.  In making such a bequest I declare a general charitable intention.  The receipt of the Association’s secretary or other proper officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.

I GIVE to Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Limited (its successors or assigns) a portion of my estate in the following share [eg. ½, ¼] to be used for its general purposes.  In making such a bequest I declare a general charitable intention.  The receipt of the Association’s secretary or other proper officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.

I GIVE to Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Limited (its successors or assigns) the residue of my estate to be used for its general purposes.  In making such a bequest I declare a general charitable intention.  The receipt of the Association’s secretary or other proper officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.

I GIVE to Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Limited (its successors or assigns) the sum of $……………… to be used for its general purposes.  In making such a bequest I declare a general charitable intention.  The receipt of the Association’s secretary or other proper officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.
