Go Red on Hearts and Roses Day February 14, 2009.

Make this Valentine's Day, February 14, a day to celebrate your love of life with friends, family and work mates. Organise a "Go Red" event, get together or morning tea and help raise awareness and valuable funds for families living with cystic fibrosis in Queensland.

It can be as simple as dressing red and red jelly cakes for morning tea. Or a park full of red bows around trees, a fashion parade, a golf day, or band night. The important thing is to have fun and embrace the spirit of the occasion in one of two ways:

Get ready for Valentine's Day with a Hearts and Roses merchandise kit, containing pens, heart brooches, a rose shaped flash light and rubik's cube key ring. Kits cost $130 each. Get in early and put your kit on display.

Hold your own Go Red fundraising event!

This year we have extended the Hearts and Roses celebrations to include February and March, giving you more time to organise your own community fundraiser. It can be a special red dinner, club function or even a Tupperware party! We'll even help you set up a web page for sending invites, promoting your fundraiser and collecting donations. It's so much fun and you'll be amazed at how much you can raise along the way.

All you need to do is register your company, organisation or school to take part and encourage everyone to participate.
