Welcome to the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland website.
When we were considering new directions for the outward facing look of our organisation, we needed to make a decision on how we described ourselves in words beneath our logo. We finally settled on "For the love of life" because to us, these words best summed up the relationship between what we do, and the way people living with CF approach their lives.
One of the biggested motivators for us in choosing "For the love of life" were these words from one of our CF clients...
"Cystic fibrosis can fit in with my life. I'm not going to change my life to fit in with cystic fibrosis".
Trek for Life
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single breath!
Every four days a child is diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, facing a life of challenges. This November, a dedicated group of volunteers will take on their own challenge, to help those kids breathe a little easier, by climbing the 2000m summit Mt Hope in New Zealand.
