Specialist CF Working Group
February 2012 - The ACI (NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation) is a government agency tasked with networking clinicians and experts around key clinical treatment areas in order to identify and recommend improvements to the health system.
At the ACI Respiratory Network meeting on the 14th December 2011 the members resolved to create a working group to focus on cystic fibrosis in NSW.
This is to be composed of:
◦Medical specialists and clinicians
◦CFSNW representative/s
◦Consumer/s of cystic fibrosis services
◦Members of the transition unit at ACI
The formation of the group is in progress. Once the group is formed it will develop terms of reference and work plan.
It is anticipated that this group will act as a resource for the Ministry of Health for information relating to services to people with cystic fibrosis in NSW.
