Livewire
Connecting young people living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability and their families
What is Livewire?
Livewire provides free and safe online communities for families affected by a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability. A place where members, siblings and parents can connect with others in a supportive environment.
The Livewire Members online community is a place where young people, aged over 10 and under 21, living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability can hang out, meet new friends and share experiences with one another and realise that they are not alone in their situation.
Livewire has just launched Livewire Siblings – an online community for young people, aged over 10 and under 21, who have a brother or sister living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability. It’s a place where young people can go to meet other siblings and share experiences with people who understand what they are going through.
Coming soon is Livewire Parents – an online community for parents and carers of a child with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability. It’s a place where parents and carers can connect in a supportive and understanding environment.
