Everyone has something they can contribute whether it is by giving a regular commitment or helping out at a one-off event. All you need to do is decide how much time you have to offer, what skills, experiences and abilities you can bring to the organisation and how volunteering for CF NSW can help you to further your goals.

What is the selection process?

Depending on the type of volunteering you would like to do we may require a reference check to be done before offering you any volunteer work.  After your volunteer registration has been received a CF NSW member of staff will be in contact with you.

Who pays for expenses?

Volunteers will be reimbursed any out of pocket expenses incurred whilst volunteering for CF NSW.

I am only available nights and weekends, can I help then?

There are rare occasions when we need volunteers outside of business hours so the best way you can help is by holding a fundraiser or participating in our fundraising events.

How do I register as a volunteer?

CF NSW is bound by the National Privacy Principles and any health Privacy principles under state legislation.  The information in the volunteer registration form will be used by CF NSW to request volunteer assistance, for provision of information about volunteers roles and for insurance purposes, where relevant, only.  Volunteers information will not be passed onto any third parties without prior permission.
