This year’s official Crazy Hair Day was held on Friday 30th June 2006 (the last day of the 2nd school term).

We are delighted to announce that over 80 schools registered to be a part of this year’s event, which has so far raised over $17,000 from the 50 schools that have returned their funds.

Special mention must go to Marsden Road Public School who raised an impressive $2678.60.  Four teachers and even the school principal dyed or shaved their heads for the cause.

Watch out for some crazy photos in the December edition of the CF newsletter as schools have been invited to enter photos in a competition to win a digital camera for the school or individual pupil who sends in the most wacky hair do.

With the success of this year’s event it has been decided that Crazy Hair Day will stay a part of the CF NSW event calendar in 2007.  We hope to build the event further by registering more schools and workplaces to join in the fun.  For more information contact Ruth at CF NSW.
