Crazy Hair Day NSW
A fun school or workplace fundraiser that invites you to let your hair down and go crazy for a day.
Crazy Hair Day for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a great way to have fun on the last day of the second term while raising awareness and money for kids living with Cystic Fibrosis.
When?
The official date for Crazy Hair Day for NSW schools is the last day of term two. However, is this if not a suitable date for your school you can hold your Crazy Hair Day on a different day.
Organising your school’s Crazy Hair Day
All you have to do is complete a registration form and we will then send you a Crazy Hair Day kit complete with posters, stickers, flyers and all the information you need so you can really let your hair down for Cystic Fibrosis.
Anything goes on Crazy Hair Day; colour it, gel it, tease it, tie it, spike it or twist it - the crazier it is the better! You can encourage teachers to get involved too, perhaps award a special prize for the person with the craziest ‘do’ or organise a Crazy Hair Day morning tea, lunch break or hat parade. Why not set a target fundraising amount for the whole school?
For example raise $200 and one teacher has to dye their hair, raise $500 and all the teachers have to go spikey, raise $1,000 and the prinicipal has to shave it all off! The amounts are up to you!
Simply collect a gold coin donation from every person with a wacky hairstyle and forward the funds raised to Cystic Fibrosis NSW. Money raised will help us to support kids and their families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
1. Complete the online registration below or download a registration form and return to Cystic Fibrosis NSW.
2. Put up posters around the school to let everyone know about your Crazy Hair Day.
3. Collect a gold coin from each participant and forward the donation to Cystic Fibrosis NSW (CF NSW). Alternatively, you can pay the money directly into the CF NSW account.
