Clare was just 10 years 11 months old when she died suddenly on 17th February 1993. Annmaree died just 19 months later on 26th September 1994 at the age of 19 years. Their deaths were devastating for their parents Paul and Carmel and their brothers Paul, Danny & Patrick.

The positive happy attitude and the great fight for life shown by Clare & Annmaree in their battle against Cystic Fibrosis was an inspiration to many people. It led to the decision by Terry Johnson and Carmel Moriarty to hold an annual golf day in their memory.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common recessive genetic condition affecting Australian children. One in 25 people carry the CF gene and one in every 2500 babies, male and female, will be born with CF.

The first eleven CAAMM CUP Golf Days have raised over $115,000 for CFNSW. We ask you to help fulfil Annmaree’s dying wish that people support CF NSW so that it can continue to provide vital services to young people with CF and their families and to fund research.
