City 2 Surf 2010

“It was my pleasure to go in the City to Surf in support of CFNSW.  I am 61 years old and had a great day.  Cool to start, but not long before everyone warmed up ready for Heartbreak Hill.  The crowd was great - all 80,000 of them - people joked and laughed along the way enjoying the music and bands that gave light entertainment.  I walked but still had some torturous training to get ready.  But that was nothing.  My great niece Charlotte Marigold Kramer was born on 8/4/10 with Cystic Fibrosis - her future is everything and worth all the effort.
I raised $610.00 which was well above my target of $100.00.  But then I had the wonderful surprise of being told my daughter's employer would double my total. So CFNSW will receive $1220.00.” – Joan Poche  –
