CAAMM Cup Golf Day - July 23
![]() | ![]() |
In memory of Clare and Annmaree Moriarty, the annual CAAMM Cup golf tournament was held at Riverside Oaks on July 23rd and raised over $13,200. With beautiful weather contributing to the stunning surroundings, the day was a great success and a good time was had by all.
Stuart Clark, CFNSW ambassador and Australian International cricketer, was present on the day, as well as Mark Bylsma, Australian long drive champion, and Ben Dyer a fellow long drive competitor, who made scoring easier for many of the golfers by hitting some amazing shots – almost certainly guaranteeing them a birdie or eagle!
A brand new car was the prize for a hole-in-one and was nearly claimed in the last group of the day. The ball ended up within inches of the hole - maybe next year!! Many thanks to Rice motors for their ongoing sponsorship.
This beautiful day ended with a delicious BBQ and a silent auction to raise additional funds for Cystic Fibrosis NSW. There was keen bidding on some great prizes which included a luxury Volvo for a weekend, a cricket bat signed by the 2007 Australian Twenty 20 team, cameras from CANON and much more.
Many thanks to all the participants, the donors and the sponsors who made the day possible!
A special thanks to our Blue Ribbon Sponsors:

We would also like to thank the staff at Riverside Oaks and all the volunteers who helped on the day: Shelly and Tonia Dempsey, Lee Castle, David Ecob (PGA pro), Charlie Gil and Don.
Year after year, Terry Johnson and Carmel Moriarty have put their time and energy into organising this great event.
Thanks to their generosity and innovative minds they have successfully raised over $157,000 for Cystic Fibrosis NSW since the beginning of the CAAMM Cup, 14 years ago.
They are a great example of devotion to a cause they truly believe in.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
