70kms in 24 Hours Walk-a-thon

Patrick O'Donovan and a core team of walkers will complete an ultra endurance Walk-a-thon on Saturday 8th March 2008. Patrick and the team will walk 70kms in 24 hours on a continuous circuit around the famous 'Bay Run' which takes in the suburbs of Drummoyne, Haberfield, Leichhardt, Lilyfield & Rozelle.

Though physically and mentally challenging, the event will be a great way to raise funds and raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
Patrick is currently seeking both corporate and individual sponsors for the event.
How can I support?
You can support by sponsoring Patrick or any of the walkers on-line and by encouraging others to sponsor the event. If you would like to participate, but don't think you could handle the distance, you can join the team for as many laps of the circuit as you can manage. If you feel up to the challenge of completing the 70kms you will be welcomed into the fold of the core team. The phrase 'strength in numbers' will be very much applicable as the team enters into mentally draining latter stages of the event. To join the team there is a special Walk-a-thon package that can be purchased directly from Cystic Fibrosis Australia.
Ladies package or Unisex package
