CF Data Registry Launch
15/Jun/2006
The Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry was launched on Monday 22 May.

At present there is no cure for CF but a great amount of time is being directed towards finding new and improved ways of treating CF and of finally finding a cure. Part of that work has been the establishment of the electronic Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry.
The Registry is a repository of information about patients who attend specialist CF centres at Australian hospitals. Our intention is to provide statistics that describe the population with CF in Australia and to act as a tool for research into the condition.
The launch of the Data Registry for 65 Roses Day was conducted by the Hon Tony Abbott, Minister for Health and Ageing.
