Cystic Fibrosis in Australia

Embroiders Attention - Justin's 65 Roses Project

17/Apr/2007

Eighteen months ago Maureen Russell launched an innovative and new way to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Research.

Maureen is marketing a CD that has 65 rose machine embroidery designs, which have been donated by digitisers from the USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia. The beautiful designs are selling well and this month Maureen presented the CEO of Cystic Fibrosis Australia, Terry Stewart, with a cheque for $10,000.

The response when the designs and the initiative were published in both “Machine Embroidery and Textile Art” and “Creative Expressions” magazines has been wonderful and the orders have come poring in.

The designs are available from the web site: www.justins65roses.com or by contacting Maureen on 0412 004 892.

Further information can be obtained from the web site or by contacting Maureen directly.  Cystic Fibrosis Australia can be contacted on 1800 635 008.
