Turning Training into Fundraising!
John Corby, of L.J. Hooker Lismore, has instigated a unique way to fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis after throwing out a challenge in a training session. John’s challenge to attendees was if a minimum of 2 people got 100% correct in the question and answer pages, of which there was a particularly curly question at the end, he would donate $100.00 to Cystic Fibrosis. Luckily for CF this challenge was met. The original $100 was then generously matched by Bob Campbell of L.J. Hooker Financial Services Northern Rivers.
After this training session John decided to continue fundraising for CF by asking $100 be given to Cystic Fibrosis for a copy of his training disc. This has raised over $1,000 for CF research and this amount is still growing.
From a thought thrown out at a training course John has instigated a great fundraiser - congratulations on a fantastic achievement!
