Over the summer months L.J. Hooker Port Macquarie ran a "Sign for CF" campaign as well as an Easter Raffle which encouraged businesses, the local community and tourists visiting Port Macquarie to donate money for research into Cystic Fibrosis.

The fundraising campaign involved the installation of a large sign board in the arcade adjoining the L.J. Hooker office.  Individuals, families and businesses were given the opportunity to donate money and have their family or business name displayed on the special ‘CF Thankyou Wall’.

Terry Stewart, CEO of Cystic Fibrosis Australia, travelled to Port Macquarie on the 5th of April and was presented with a cheque for $7,223.20.  Cystic Fibrosis Australia wish to thank L.J. Hooker Port Macquarie's Managing Director Graeme Hyde and his staff for developing this fantastic "Sign for CF" campaign and the Easter Raffle.

The L.J Hooker team also brought on board local Port Macquarie businesses to assist with this campaign.  Cystic Fibrosis Australia appreciate the tremendous generosity and support shown from Sign City, Harvey Norman, Port Macquarie News, Rydges Port Macquarie, Bunnings Warehouse, StarFM, Port Macquarie Express, NBN Television and 2MC FM.

The money raised by the "Sign for CF" campaign will go directly to fund research into a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.  Congratulations for a fantastic effort!
