Kane Bradley Kicks for CF!

Kane Bradley, L.J. Hooker Sales & Marketing Consultant and Cessnock Goanna’s Five-eighth, has been donating to Cystic Fibrosis $50 from every goal he kicks this year and has numerous individuals and businesses matching his donation.
So far Kane has kicked 56 goals at $50 a goal for a total of $2,800. $1,000 from Bloomfield Colliery, and hopefully some more goals in the remaining 2 rounds of the competition, will go to exceeding Kane’s goal of reaching $4,000.
Kane recently received a massive boost in his quest to raise money & awareness from Bloomfield Mine & their Miners Union.
Bloomfield Colliery is a privately owned family company that has been mining coal in the east Maitland area for over 60 years since 1937. It has provided employment for local workers for many generations and is well respected in the business sector which also provides additional labour to the colliery.
Lodge President Gary Horn said the Bloomfield Union became aware of the fundraising event through articles in the Advertiser and thought it was a very worthy cause. Lodge Secretary and Lodge official Chris Jennings both agreed that community support was essential when an individual such as Kane attempts to achieve a personal goal of raising awareness and money donations to help fund research into this terrible childhood disease.
The Bloomfield Miners union came up with a one off amount of $500 and the owners of the mine matched the $500 to take the total to $1,000. “I am extremely overwhelmed with the response from Bloomfield Mine and the Miners Union and cannot thank them enough” said Kane.
Kane would also like to thank the following people for their support throughout the year. L.J. Hooker Cessnock, L.J. Hooker Financial Services, The Australia Hotel, The Oakley’s Milk Bar, Wine Country Wealth, Smyth Turner & Wall, Sams Mining Services, Howsafe OH & S, Rebecca Robertson, Denise & Gunther Schilko and Col & Pat Bradley.
The generosity of these people should not go unnoticed within the community & their help is certainly appreciated by Kane & Cystic Fibrosis Australia.
