L.J. Hooker Financial Services Charity Golf Day for Cystic Fibrosis

The fourth annual L.J. Hooker Financial Services Charity Golf Day, held on the Gold Coast on Friday 13 July 2007, was an outstanding success. This year’s event had a record attendance of 36 teams consisting in total of 144 players. There were 5 major prizes allocated to the raffle, 15 trophies awarded, 36 team prizes ranging from golf bags, putters, wine, golfing accessories etc, business card draws, the list goes on! In celebration of “Friday the 13th“ there were also some fantastic teams dressed in theme!
In conjunction with the above L.J. Hooker Financial Services held an auction utilising the professional services of Ray Cross and Paul Moore who assisted in raising in excess of $6,000. This amount, added to a further sum of $13,000 raised from this event, means an amazing $19,000 was raised. In the four years this event has been operating L.J. Hooker Financial Services have raised a massive $50,000 for Cystic Fibrosis.
Noel & Lee-Maree Maher and Rosie Wisbey, organisers of this event, give a special thank you their platinum sponsors – Suncorp, RCI and L.J Hooker Financial Services and individual thanks to Adrian & Kerry Vowles whose auction donations alone raised in excess of $1,400. They also send their thanks to Ray Cross and Paul Moore who assist each year with the auction and note that this day was made possible with the assistance of the dedicated financial services staff and other staff from many Gold Coast offices.
This is a fantastic event that continues to grow each year – congratulations to Noel and all the L.J Hooker team for putting together such a fantastic fundraising event.
