What is Livewire?Livewire is a safe and fun online community for kids, teens and young people (aged over 10 and under 21 years) living with a serious illness, chronic condition or disability.
But what is it? Livewire is a safe online community, where you can read up on all the latest news and goss, meet new people, catch up with old friends, play games, and basically hang out and have fun. As well as being able to send messages to friends, Livewire members have so much to see and do on the site.
Blogs are like online journals. You can use it to express yourself in any way you like;
Games range from crosswords, sudoku and word games, through to car racing and old-skool arcade gaming. Livewire is constantly adding new games to keep you entertained.
Forums are a place where you can leave messages to discuss topics. Common topics on Livewire include sharing favourites, school, music, current TV shows, and games.
Galleries are a great way to share pics.
Articles cover all topics from the latest celeb gossip, updated Top 40 charts, recipes, previews and reviews, current events, cool technology, sports events, fashion and style tips, and anything else you ask for!
Chat rooms are for Livewire members only. Come and meet new people, catch up with old friends, chat about topics of your choice, take part in games and quizzes to win cool prizes, or just hang out with the Chat Hosts and Livewire members.
