ACFRT Funded Grants for 2007
Above is the financial break up of funds that will be handed over to the various investigators within ACFRT Research along with Ph D Studentships that are currently carrying out their studies along with funding for the 4 new PhD Studentships for 2007.
The pie is divided into areas of funding so we have a better understanding of where the money is going and into what areas of research.
This is the first time we have funded over $1/2 million dollars in one calendar year and we are hoping that this will continue to grow in the coming years.
That along with LJ Hooker receiving the major award at "The Thank You Day Awards" for corporate giving to Medical Research in Australia has lifted the profile of ACFRT.
In the coming 12 months we will be looking at further refining the process within ACFRT in the very time consuming area of assessment.
