hi evryone hope you all enjoyed your easter and have had a happy healthy start to 2008!
some of you may remember my questions re ivf and where to start about a year ago,
thought i would update u guys on our familly plans!!!
well as you no ivf is the only option for males and there partners with cf
my partner and i had been on the ivf program and are happy to say on our official 2nd attempt (first go the drugs didn't work enough for me) we are having a baby! we are 27 wks pregnant and over moon,my partner is 35 and until now has always thought he may live his life without any children,just wanted to share this with you all and to hopefully give others hope and to remind you all to stay positive for those going through the same thing. good luck and thoughts are with you!!!! thank you all of you who spent the time sharing your experiences.......  |

| I'm so happy for you and your husband. My little fellow is 12 and I haven't mentioned infertility to him, seems a bit irrelevant at his age? Can you let me know when you think is would be appropriate to let him know. Your husband having live through it may have some ideas as to when might be a good time? My guess is no right time for this though. All the best for the three of you! you must be so excited! |
