In this process conference, members help to find the most appropriate response to the
person’s or family’s needs. The members listen to the problems being raised and then
offer support in whatever form is necessary. This support may include providing food
or food vouchers, clothing, furniture, budget support, assistance with utility bills or
back to school costs, information and advocacy.
Home visitation is a way by which people can be supported and encouraged to
take control of their lives. It allows members the privileged opportunity to enter
another’s home and life, to accompany them as they move forward. Emergency Relief
Assistance in the form of food aid, clothing, budget advice or utility bills is provided by
Society members and volunteers through Home Visitation.
Please note: Cash and monetary gifts are not provided by the Society.
If you require Emergency Relief Assistance in the Perth metro area, please call our
Call Centre on 1300 794 054 between 9am - 1pm, Monday to Friday.
Assistance is also available in many country towns.
