65 Roses Day Update

A big “thank you” to everyone who helped raise funds and awareness as part of 65 Roses Day 2008.
We have had a wonderful response to this year’s month long campaign and wish to thank the CF community and general public for their fundraising efforts, L.J. Hooker nationally for their merchandise sales and fundraising events, retailers BIG W and Ted’s Camera Stores for their assistance in selling merchandise and Adshel for their advertising support.
To all our fundraisers it’s now time to send back your fundraising money to Cystic Fibrosis to enable these funds to be put to good use. If you missed supporting 65 Roses Day 2008, you can still donate today and help make a difference.

65 Roses Day, which fell on Friday 23 May 2008, is the annual national awareness day for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in Australia with funds raised going to research projects and support services for children and young adults living with this condition.
This special day was named after the folklore story of a little boy who could not pronounce his sister's condition, Cystic Fibrosis, and instead called it "65 Roses".
