Cystic Fibrosis in Australia

The Donlan Lawyers 65 Roses Ball

The Donlan Lawyers 65 Roses Ball, in support of Cystic Fibrosis SA, is being held on the 6th August 2011.

The one and only Peter Combe, famous children's entertainer, will be a special guest at the event, and will auction off one of his famous pianos.  Purchased by Peter in 1980 after returning home from three years abroad in England, Janis Svilans bought the piano in 1987 and has donated it for this auction.

Peter will be performing at the 65 Roses Ball on the piano on which he composed the classics - Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice), Juicy Juicy Green Grass, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Running on the Spot (sung often on Playschool) and George Cryolot Crumble, recorded by Rolf Harris)".

In Peter's own words: "It's a rather nice instrument and very suitable for kids starting lessons." It is personally signed by the children’s star.

Even though the Donlan Lawyers 65 Roses Ball is officially sold out, anyone is able to place a bid on the piano up until Friday 5th August 2011.

Just visit www.65roses.com.au to place your bid!

CFSA would like to officially recognise their event sponsors: Donlan Lawyers, Brandrally, Scarpantoni, Fuji Xerox, Coopers and Scammell Auctions.
