ACFRT grants support individuals and small research teams seeking funding for top up grants and seed funding in the specific area of Cystic Fibrosis research.

Cystic Fibrosis Australia would like to announce that the Trustees for the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust (ACFRT) have approved funding of an important research study coming out of the University of Wollongong with conferring institutions, the University of NSW and Nanyang Technological University.

Project title – ‘Multi-action antibiotics to treat chronic biofilm infections’
ACFRT will fund the project to $588,687 over 3 years.
The project was Peer Reviewed to ‘Worlds Best Practice’ by the NHMRC review process.
